Odos Mezedion
There are numerous events throughout the Carnival and Ash Monday every year. The association “Nafpaktos: Politistikes Diadromes” revives the traditional “Epaxtitikos Wedding” on Shrove Thursday every year. On Saturday a feast takes place in Stenopazaro with music, appetizers, souvlaki, deserts, wine and tsipouro offered for the visitors. On Sunday there is a big Carnival parade with impressive floats and costumed groups. On Ash Monday “Koulouma” are celebrated at the Port with folk dances, maypole, kites’ flying and traditional dishes offered for free to the visitors.
