Monticelli

The locality Monticelli takes the name from the high dunes and it is a cove with fine sand overlooking the cobalt blue Adriatic Sea.

The marina of Ostuni, at the feet of the sunny Itria Valley, boasts the Blue Flag and 5 Sails (a prize given to the most beautiful beaches) of Legambiente (Italian environment protection association) in a peaceful and familiar atmosphere.

Going to the beach, you can lay your beach towel on the fine sand or venture through paths with rocks and small cliffs which slope down to shallow and transparent water. On the left, instead, there are the ruins of a settlement dating back to the Bronze Age.

Nearby it is possible to find services such as cafes, campsites and hotels.
