Planitero / Springs of Aroanios
The headwaters of the Aroanios river are located in a plane tree forest, near the villages of Planetero and Arbouna, where it is formed. This area is famous for its fish farm.
Furthermore, the river Aroanios is reinforced by the smaller streams Lagada and Haliki, flowing south, until it meets the Ladonas river. Its length is about 10 kilometers. Watermills are located on its shores, which are folksy’s architecture.
