Holy Monastery of Agioi Theodoroi

The Monastery foundation is placed, from the data collected by the researchers, around 1724. However, there is also the opinion that its history begins in 1000 - 1100 AD.

Unfortunately, there is no written record. Since 1724 we know the course of the Monastery from codes and many inscriptions in its buildings. Thus in 1724 the Monastery was renovated by the Abbot Symeon from the nearby village of Agridi. Above the entrance of the Catholic Church there is a relevant inscription. It then experienced periods of prosperity and decline, like many Monasteries in Greece and especially during the Turkish occupation, from the heavy taxes and persecutions of the Turkalvans of the region.
